SY Must-Try: Yabu's Buta Kakuni Don and Buta Korokke

Yabu's Buta Kakuni Don and Buta Korokke

As if their menu couldn't possibly get any better, Yabu has introduced another set of dishes that's sure to flare up your taste buds and satisfy your deepest cravings. This time the restaurant puts the spotlight on pork, also known as Buta in Japanese, and you're gonna want to try them the next time you find yourself at the restaurant. Here's a quick round-up on their two new offerings:

Buta Korokke - P235

Taste: Subtly sweet due to the marinated pork blended in the rice. The sauce compliments the overall flavor with its creaminess and light sourness!
Texture: Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.
Price: Very affordable and worth it considering the price.
Overall: It's like croquettes but better and more delicious!

Buta Kakuni Don - P345

Taste: Savory sweet with the teriyaki-like sauce poured over the bowl.
Texture: Creamy with melt-in-your-mouth pork belly cubes!
Price: Reasonably priced at P345.
Overall: An instant favorite for those who love pork (plus there's a portion of veggies to with it)!

The Buta Kakuni Don and Buta Korkke are available in all branches of Yabu! Come on down and try their new pork dishes today!
